Many people long to be more creative. They may be artists, part-time crafters or just people who seek a bit of an artistic edge that’s missing from their lives. Unfortunately, they don’t know where to find inspiration for sparking this creativity. The solution is almost always to go to places and events that are different from what you normally experience.

For example, head to a CPAP supply store which is a store selling medical supplies that are useful to people with sleep apnea. Look at each sleep apnea mask or CPAP machine carefully. Ask yourself questions about the things that you’re seeing. You’ll find yourself curious because you’ve never known about this stuff before. That curiosity is the first step necessary to creativity. It doesn’t have to be a CPAP Supply store, of course. It could be a new vacation destination or an event you’ve never experienced before.

By allowing yourself to experience things that are out of the ordinary, you open yourself up to asking questions about the world around you. These questions are what get our creative brains thinking. Once we’ve started asking questions, we’ll want to answer them. To answer them, we’ll find creative ways to express them. And that’s how people infuse their lives with creativity.
