I have been playing in a pool league for years. It is actually quite a lot of fun. Just like any competitive adult leagues it offers a lot of camaraderie as well as friendly competition. It also fits into my lifestyle really well because the locations we play in are all bars. Who doesn’t enjoy a cold beer with a little friendly competition?
Our team captain had to relocate, so this year is my first year as the captain. And with that there come some new and unique challenges that I have had to face. For one thing, I have to pay attention to and learn each of my team members’ individual styles. If I know their style, I am in a better position to help them since I will know how to coach them when they need it.
Plus, I need to know how well they play. I mean even though it is a handicapped league (no we are not rolling around in wheelchairs) you have stronger and weaker players in the various levels. So in order for me to set each team member up with the most advantageous match, I really need to know just how strong they are. But despite all of that, our main focus is just on having fun.

Dirk McKenzie III had been an ocean man his entire life. He’d follow the fisherman out of New England whenever he had the chance. There was a great chance of catching some big fish out there, and lots of them. When a huge storm almost took his life a few years ago, he started to rethink his passion for fishing up there, after 45 years. Georgia Fly Fishing! This seemed to lure him, so to say, so he looked through the fly fishing trips online and booked himself on one of them.
Accustomed to the whipping winds and dangerous waves of the ocean, Dirk was amazed and almost didn’t know how to take in the calmness of the lake and river. Despite their completely different experiences and outlooks, he and the Georgia fly fishing guides got along well. They traded stories and tales and Dirk learned more about fly fishing than he ever knew there was to know in just that short time. The longshoreman/fisherman and the fly fisherman used completely different craft and equipment, but this made for an unforgettable adventure. No matter how many fly patterns he learned, Dirk could not get enough. This was totally different from the equipment on ocean ships, and using it in a dark, ocean storm.

For those who have taken the time to get there car rental, Orlando has plenty of things to do and see while you are here. There is plenty to do in the city, much more than just going to one of the two large parks here. For example, it is only a short drive to get from the rental car Orlando location to the Atlantic Ocean, (about a day trip.) This would be a great place for you to spend a quiet evening with your friends or family. Another option could be to head to any of the natural parks or walking trails that are located throughout the region.
Once you go from the Orlando airport car rental location, do not forget to choose other things to do. There are some great locations for meals throughout the city, outside of the parks. You will also find that the city itself offers movie theaters and plenty of shopping, if you want a different way to spend the day. There is much more to do when you arrive at the city than many people believe. Take some time to consider all of the options you have when you visit Orlando. There is plenty to enjoy and something for just about everyone.

I have been working in the beverage industry for 20 years and one of the most useful tools that I have ever come across has been a flow controller. One item that I have found particularly useful is the ultrasonic open channel flow meter. This device is one I have been using when I have to go to sites and replace the current flow system that they have in place. It is exactly what many of the places I service need and allows for peak efficiency in the beverage system that they are using. In almost any beverage system, you will need to have a flow meter of some sort in order to have optimum quality in your beverages and as with any item, these will go bad. This is not to say that you have poor or improper water flow. It is imperative that you check your meter regularly.
Remember that if you want to continue to keep your service at peak level you will need to provide the right product. In addition, one way to regulate this is with a proper functioning flow meter in place. So check it regularly and as well as the product you are serving to insure you have the best quality you can.

As much as I hate to say it, it’s finally time to buy a new car. My trusty old truck just won’t cut it anymore. We have a baby on the way, and as much as I love truck tool boxes and mud flaps, we need something a little more practical for the family. No more ladder racks for me.
Now comes the difficult part. I’ve always been a truck guy my whole life, and I don’t know too much about family vehicles. Safety is certainly my top priority. I want my wife and baby to be protected in the event of an auto accident. But at the same time, I don’t want something too family looking. I mean, I’m still in my 20’s; so, I would like something that looks kind of cool.
I was thinking about getting one of the new fuel-efficient hatchback cars. They seem to get pretty good safety review; they skew toward a younger demographic; and they’re super gas savers. That will definitely be a nice change from the gas guzzling trucks I always drive.
Do you have any suggestions for cars I should look at? I don’t want to walk onto the lot without some idea as to what I’m looking for.
