Delegating Tasks When Planning a Wedding

One of the most important things that a bride-to-be should realize during the planning of her wedding is that it is really important to delegate some of the wedding planning tasks to the other people who are assisting with the wedding. Otherwise normal women often become control freaks when it comes to their weddings and it ends up causing them unnecessary stress because there is just too much for one person to do when it comes to making wedding decisions.

Of course, the bride will have to decide which things can be done by others and which she really needs to do herself. Usually there are parts of each task that can be done by someone else and the bride can be just slightly involved in everything. For example, someone else can decide whether the tiger lily wedding invitations or the butterfly wedding invitations are best but the bride will decide what actually gets written on the wedding invitations.

In order to delegate tasks, the bride will need to sit down and make a list of everything that needs to be done for the wedding. The tasks then need to be broken down into steps (ie: choose wedding invitations, write text for invitations). The steps can then be delegated or added to a separate list of "things to do" for the bride.
