I’m actually pretty much a homebody, and don’t dream of traveling too much.  But my husband loves to travel, particularly in Europe, and his enthusiasm is contagious.  So despite myself, I’ve been thinking of places I want to visit.

1. Central and South America.  I’ve been interested in Mexico vacations ever since we watched some stuff on the ruins there.  I think the ancient civilizations in Central and South America are fascinating and way underrated.
2. Egypt.  Well, I couldn’t be interested in ancient civilizations without wanting to go here, now could I?
3. England.  Being an English major, there are several places I want to see in England — but no place more than Haworth, where the Bronte sisters lived and where their books, such as Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights, was set.
4. The Caribbean.  There’s no literary or historical attraction here for me, but I guess I ought to see it someday, besides, it’s a popular vacation place, and there are some pretty good all inclusive vacations to the Caribbean.
5. Canada.  Canada is just one of those all-around beautiful places that I would like to go to someday.

I guess it isn’t a bad thing to want to travel.  I’m sure I’ll have fun when I go…  It’s just that I’ll really love coming home again when the vacation is over!
