Transportation Used For Aerial Photography
By nuMeedia in Travel | 0 comments
If you were going to get involved in the art of aerial photography, what mode of transportation would you use to get you into the air? There are many different ways that you could approach this type of art.
Here are some of the more common modes of aerial photo transportation:
- Helicopters. These are widely considered the best tool for taking pictures from the air.
- Airplanes. They need to be fixed-wing, small aircraft to be useful for this art.
- Hot air balloons. You can get some great views from that little basket.
- Blimps. If you get a chance to ride in one, be sure to take some pictures.
- Rockets. People up in space can get some great shots.
- Parachutes. If you’re not too scared to drop from the sky then be bold enough to get some pictures of the action.
Not all aerial photography actually requires that you leave the ground. For example, you can put cameras on poles to get pictures from above. You can also do behind-the-scenes work on photos (such as photogrammetry analysis) if you’re afraid of heights. However, those people who don’t mind getting in the air to get their pictures should know they have a lot more transportation options than just the obvious.
